Mediaportal 1.2b is installed and the awesome Mustayaluca skin is showing all the goods. I needed the new PC because of a switch to HDTV via DVBIP which my old system couldn't handle. I use an nvidia 9600GT graphics board and for a bit of silencing I bought a second hand SDD.</p><p></p><p>The home made casing you see on the picture still houses a H/K AVR100 receiver hooked up to an M-Audio 24/96 soundcard, driving Eltax linear response speakers. For cooling I fitted a pair of very silent 500RPM 12cm fans in the amp, which are powerd by the PC. Also attached is a turntable and a few layers of new - white - paint. I control it with a Logitech Harmony remote (the cheap one, a 300 I believe)</p><p></p><p>Secondly I installed a embedded Mini ITX server system, hidden away in my 'electricitycloset' (don't know proper english word), which houses al of my media, a usenet- and bittorrent client and an ampache server.
