Hi!
Would it be possible to add global option for audio output selection?
As I imagine it is possible because MediaPortal is basicaly a DirectX application and DirectX games offer this possibility quite some time.
It is like this for me if I can explain my setup:
I use non dedicated machine for MediaPortal. In first, let's say, profile used for work, I use my LCD as screen and one set of speakers connected to CL Audigy 2 ZS PCI sound card. In second profile used for MediaPortal I use HDMI connected Philips PW 9551 TV as display and onboard ALC850 sound card (nForce4 Ultra chipset) connected to HT receiver via coax SPDIF and alltogether different set of speakers.
I can change settings for sound output in Movies and DVD sections but not in Music section of setup. And then there are sound effects in the GUI I don't hear through 2nd set of speakers.
So, is it achievable?
