I had been watching video for about 30mins and paused it (around 17:35) and instantly both my displays went off. It seems it went to Away mode as I was able to bring the displays back on instantly by going to my desk and moving the mouse.
I have to use Windows to control standby (currently set to 30mins) as I use my PC for things other than MP but I do have the PowerScheduler plugin active. It seems that fails to register playing video as activity, hence why it went to Away as soon as I paused (although I'm surprised pressing pause doesn't cause MP to send a user activity signal to reset the standby timer).
I know PS++ currently fails to reset the timer whilst video is playing and I've been trying to encourage Michael to fix this https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/powerscheduler-test-versions.87446/page-66 but I'm surprised to find that the official PowerScheduler plugin has the same issue.
(Actually I just checked my power settings and for some reason they'd changed to Turn off display after 20mins, standby Never but the issue is the same, that MP isn't sending an activity signal whilst video is playing to reset the idle timer).
