Hello everyone, my name is Marco and I'm just starting out with the creation of skinn for mediaportal.
I wanted information
is possible to create create a skin that allows me to display on the same screen that is broadcast on television and a movie on this harddisk? (A kind of picture-in-picture) and if you can give me a hand on how to do?

I think the answer for MediaPortal 1 is no. MediaPortal 1 only has one player, so you can play music or video/movie or live TV. MediaPortal 2 can probably do it.

Yes, mm is right! MP1 has only one player. MP2 has more players. If I recall the latest changes correctly it can now have an infinite number of players (sure, only if you hardware would be so powerful to handle an infinite amount...).
Fact is that MP2 has two players so that pip is possible and it also has a third one for movies playing as a backround animation. Later one was the reason for the infinite amount of players as far as I remember. Before MP2 only supported two players.
