Grabbing xml data from 2 countries (1 Viewer)

Hi there , is possible to grab from 2 countries and merge xmltv data in one tvguide.xml file?

Oh jeah James , i know , but currently WebEPG grabbers didnt have all the channels
i got now with DVB-S...
Xmltv have all the italians channels i need, than i need epg from 6 swiss tv channels
Can i merge 2 tvguide.xml ?

If xmltv have the italian channels you need then a grabber for Webepg can be made for them.

I used WebEPG during analog TV days and find it very nice
Grabber for italian tv chans is wfactory (present as WebEPG grabber with only one chan here)

Sorry, I haven't had time.

Adding the channels is not very hard. Maybe you can help me. For each Channel we need an id and a name. If you go here: http://www.wfactory.net/lastampa/programmi.jsp and view html source you will see a section with all the channels like this: new Option('Rai 1', '1') then this needs to be put into the config file like this:

<Channel id="raiuno.rai.it" siteId="1&amp;FRM_CHAN_NAME=Rai%201" />

Replace the spaces in the name with %20.

It doesn't seem that all the channels listed have guide info. So you may need to click on them to check. Xmltv has a list here -> http://xmltv.cvs.sourceforge.net/xmltv/xmltv/grab/it/channel_ids?revision=1.14&view=markup

Which maybe the only one working?

I just checked xml source code and saw :

# [searchch]
530 # C1.rtsi.ch;TSI1
531 # C2.rtsi.ch;TSI2

Well those 2 chans are the .ch ones that i need with some of the .it
Sorry for stupid question ...why those 2 are marked with # [searchch]??

They come from tv.search.ch. I don't know why they have the # I assume that means they don't work any more.

We don't have a grabber for tv.search.ch. However, there are a few other CH grabbers which can get you these channels. Have a look at 20min.ch and fernsehen.ch. Also I have had a look at this site and it will be possible to parse it.

Thanks James, ok ive used 20min.ch and fernsehen.ch without problems during my analog tv days.
I looked @ www.wfactory.net xmltv grabber and tried to run xmltv.exe to grab them
but i had tons of grabbing-errors.
Dont know how that grabber reliable is...
Anyway ive got a complete .it chans coming from http://www.htpcitalia.it/ in xmltv format , and think the easiest solution will be a sort of merge with the remaining 2 .ch chans
