Hello All -
I searched the forum on this topci and did not find a solution so opening it up to the forum for recommendations. I am running the latest release of MP v 0.2.3.0 on an AMD Athlon 64 4000+ based system (WinXP OS), Video is an XFX 6600GT with DVI to VGA into a Gateway 19" monitor. I am using ffdshow as both an audio and video post-processor.
When I playback ripped DVDs, I sometimes get gray bars at the top and bottom of the screen. On a widescreen formatted film, the gray bars take up about 2/3rds of the "black bar areas" so that they are partially gray and partially black. Their appearance is hit or miss (50/50 I would say) and I can ususally get them to go away by exiting the movie and playing back from where I left off. Has any one else experienced this? Is there a setup issue I am not addressing with ffdshow or is this some type of bug or....?
Anyones help is greatly appreciated
/Pete
