I just picked up and configured a new universal learning remote that works great with MP1 and most likely MP2. It's called the "Inteset INT-422 4-in-1 Universal Backlit IR Learning Remote" I got it on amazon for 25 bucks and it works out of the box with MP. It also has an IR mimic button feature and back lighting. It's pre-programmed to work with media portal via the launch with window media center setting in the 3rd party checks section of configuration. Just enable the IR device tick and IR trans receiver tick in the remotes section and its good to go. To launch MP just press the mode C button then menu button on the top left. I was able to fully copy all the functionality of my entertainment system with in 15 minutes of opening the box.
