Grouping of multiple files (1 Viewer)

Is it possible to somehow group several files?
e.g. having a HD and a SD version of a movie, I would like to have them under the same entry with a selection at playback.

(I am looking to something similar to MyVideos or MyAnime2 Plugin would be even better)

Yes, will be possible in 8.0: Issue 229 - moving-pictures - Allow grouping of movies in the movie list - Project Hosting on Google Code and you can make custom group as well and sort in gui.

XIII The Conspiracy [2008] (Part 1).avi
XIII The Conspiracy [2008] (Part 2).avi

Which Moving Pictures treats as 1 movie (part 1), part 2 is never visible.

That's a series. You should use mptvseries!
But yes, movingpictures threat multipart movies as one - and is working in 0.7.5 but will be better i think

I also just tried to rip+encode (AnyDVD + Handbrake), Kingdom of Heaven (DefinitiveEdition)

This has 2 parts, which are on 2 seperate DVD's, so i had to rip 2 files.

Can't remember. Try name them movie.year.CDX.avi and let movP find them. I think i should work this way. If they are in wrong order change them in moving details in plugin gui.
