i noticed the date is now overlapping the time on the top of the screen.

i also noticed that everything has shifted up about 50 pixels in the recorded Tv section. this includes the top bar that pulls down when you roll over


could this be from some new cropping settings?

nope - nothing changed regarding topbar, etc.
Just the Time was placed next to the date like B2 wide does it to fix some other overlappings. Usually people set their date to 24 hour format because the spaced needed for AM/PM looks ugly e.g. in the OSDs.
In this case it should be possible though lowering the font size
