Haidiho!

I set FPS 60, so now the GUI works smooth and fast. But when I start a Video or turn on TV, the whole GUI drops down to about 25 fps (like the Video, TV signal is PAL).
Is there a way to keep the 60 FPS for the GUI while playing a Video/TV?

No, GUI rendering will be always synced to the video FPS (due technical limitations). It is much easier to do that way. And what comes to PAL material on 60Hz display, you definately should use 50Hz to cure stuttering.
