Gui Freezes at different times. (1 Viewer)

I've posted this different places on the forum but am posting here as it looks to be the most visited and this seems to be a problem others would have had.

1. Running Vista
2. Updated Direct X
3. Updated Video Card Drivers = Nvidia Geforce 8400 Gs - is able to run direct x 9, 10. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&displaylang=en
4. Checked DPI settings - set to default. (was originally set to 120)
5. Checked and EVR filter is chosen.

Not sure what else I've missed (besided uninstalling other codec packs which I have done before the install)

(I am running streaming mp skin btw)

I don't think this would be a codec problem as it's MP that's freezing. Video's play fine, same with music. Next I'm ripping everything out (uninstalling) and re-installing. Lets hope this works as it doesn't look like anyone else has had this problem. I have searched. I have 2 other threads about this.
