Windows Version: XP SP3

When increasing the time spread for the guide (e.g. up to 4 hours for a good view on wide-screen), the setting is not retained when MP is closed and restarted.

Although minor, it's annoying as you have to reset it every time.

Top-left of the guide, there are a pair of buttons (up/down) that change the time span of the displayed guide.

It seems like the TVguide is always "centering" itself on the currently timeshifting channel on the current program running.

Is this not wanted anymore ?

Do we want to store the timeline ?
If the user skips forward 2 days then when returning to tvguide it will remember this timeline view ?

I'm used to an EPG always defaulting to "now" (MCE behaviour).

If it was to remember where you were, there needs to be a very obvious "reset to now" button / assignable remote shortcut key.

I think there are two completely different things.

    1) placement in timeline when opening EPG
    2) time scale (i.e. "how many minutes one pixel is")

2nd one is not saved and the 1st one SHOULDnt be saved.
