Not sure if this is an issue with my remote or the skins. But when I'm in the guide in any skin and want to page down, it seems to skip a page.

Are there others that have this issue or just me??...lol

I have attached my logs.

Its weird, When I was in debug mode the guide changed just fine. Then I reloaded MP with my skin then it jumps 20 channels instead of 10.

Yes the page down works but it skips a page. I have to page down then back up to view what I missed in the guide.

does your remote have a page-down? or do you mean channel-up/down.

Very specifically:
Does the page-down button on your keyboard work as expected (correctly, as in one page at a time), or is this problem only with your remote?
Also, does this problem exist in the B3/B3W skin as well?

1) The remote I'm using does not have a page down. But the programming is set for the channel up and down to act as the same as page down/up.

2) The page down/up does work properly on the keyboard

3) I have not tried the B3/B3W

it sounds like your remote is mapped twice, probably using windows built-in mce controls followed by the mp controls.

in the mp config, did you disable the mce service?

what remote settings are you using in the mp config?

are you using anything else to map your remote? like irss or eventghost?

That is a very good possibility, I do have MCE disabled in the MP config.

I guess my problem could be I'm using IRSS? I will have to take a closer look when I get off work.

In IRSS, under the server config, there is the option (under the MCE Remote config) that allows you to disable automatic button handling.
this will disable windows' default handling of certain buttons (mainly up/down/left/right/volume/etc).

Then enable the remote using the MP plugin for IRSS and disable it everywhere else inside the MP config and you should be fine.
