Gyration mce remote - noob question (1 Viewer)

I have a gyration mce remote , which works fine with mce , and in MP if I leave ehome enabled.
However ehome is a pain if someone presses the green button by mistake and then opens mediacentre up .
However with ehome set not to start in msconfig , the remote does not work in MP.
What is the solution for this ? I don't have the usb-irt , the gyration uses its own usb rf

Try this https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/214180-post366.html. This will turn off the OS control of the remote. have the ehome start like normal. You will probably have to map the arrow and OK buttons in the IR setup (I did) but it works fine for me.
