    Hi,

I am quite happy with MePo playback of h.264 streams (HDTV, .mkvs, SD and HD) using ATi Gfx with DXVA (hardware acceleration).

See "my system" for specs (short: ATi HD3200 onboard, Catalyst 9.6, Cyberlink PDVD 7 and 9 h.264 codecs, Vista 32bit with EVR).

    My only problem:
I have some strange artefacts with some specific .mkv files, with h.264 video stream. It plays but get some annoying picture artefacts (color abberations, blocks around moving parts, green blocks). One file has level 4.1, the other 5.1. One has 1980*1280 res, other 1280*720. No matter. PDVD h.264 codec v7 or v9 no matter. In CPU mode no problem. It looks like an ATi driver issue (9.8 did not help).

    Any ideas? Thanx!
