Okay here comes the beta rel as promissed
all gfx and xml are 99% finished. Only thing missing
is a cool osd for video/tv and a new icon set

The skin is now darker so its easier on the eyes

So far this has been a maniac shitload of work

Way to go man!!!
Works very well.
But whats with the red colored font????
I think It should be gray.
But anyway, easy to change by my self. Really don't want to complain about anything when you are doing such an amazing job.
I know how much time a skin takes to make.

Well the red fonts was to add a little colour to the skin. kinda like
sin city style. But im not shure that it worked well.
Think i also liked the grey look better... atleas on the home screen

Well it's up to you.

Just one another thing.
I use MP on my television and many televisions overscans. All your menus and stuff are just on the edge. So a television will not be able to show all parts of your skin, some parts will be cut of.

actually i havent been able to test the skin on a actual tv.
So im shure theres some bugs.
But cant you adjust the screen in settings menu ?

Or post a screen dump here so i can see.

Gonna test the skin on a tv soon myself.

Ill give it a try on my television when I get home from work. Ill also try and get some photos (screen dumps wont show overscan ) of the bits getting cut off.

I happen to like the red font, gives it more contrast so it's more easily read at a distance.

Damn. Connected my comp to my tv... not good.
Think it sucks. skin needs to be adjusted so you can actually see something

Im interrested in what others who has tested this skin on tv
what you think of the visibillity. It does kinda suck ?

damn.. maybe someone can help with adjusting font sizes and colours etc ?

I think the colors are actually good, except for the red text.
Looks nice on my tv.
My only problem are the red text and the overscan problems mentioned eariler.
