Hang when trying to playback recorded TV (1 Viewer)

Anybody having the same problem?

MP 0.2.0 RC2 latest CVS

I recorded a half hour TV programme last night.
Went into "Recorded TV", located the programme and pressed Return.
MP hung.... (stopped responding).

Not had chance to try and recreate the situation yet, just wondered if it'd happened to anyone else.

works ok for me.

I use MP .2rc2 with all latest CVS patches and haven't had that problem.
All I can suggest is to check your codecs and test if timeshiofting works.

Also try taking a look in the log files to see the last thing MP was wotrking on when it froze.

If none of that works, post back here with the support template and the excerpt from the logs.

Cool.... thanks for the ideas Marcus. It turned out to be a codec problem. I switched to a different codec and it played perfectly!
