Hi.
I have a problem vith viewing .ts stream on my client pc. I is working without any problems but my cpu load is 70% on a 2.8GHZ P4. when just watching a channel.
I use the tv engine V3 on the server and MP V0.2.3.0 on the client pc
My question is: Is it possible to use the graphiccard as a hardware decoder so that the cpu does not have to make all the work? Or are there any other solutions?
My graphic card is a Gforce 6600.

Stefan

You need a codec that supports HW DXVA (Hardware video acceleration), either PowerDVD, Nvidia Purevideo or WinDVD for XP.

    Vista recommend PowerDVD only.

    Thanks!

I use MCE 2005 on the tvserver and the client. And I have installed power dvd 7.0 on it but how can you tell if MP uses the right codec? And can the graphic card GF 6600 hardware decode? Or are there any that can?
