Guys

Been pulling my hair out over this for ages now.

Ive got everything setup pretty much how i want it gave up on the tv side of things as sky is just so much easier to use.

I have configured most of the stuff i think i need to get the harmony working but there is so much and many different setups to use it gets very confusing.

I have update my harmony to be a MCE remote (not sure this is the best option or is the imon ipad)
OS Windows 7 RTM
Imon software is 7.61.0522
Imon Firmware is 0x380208
IR Server Suite is 1.0.4.1
Media Portal is 1.0.2
Case is a Thermaltake dh101
I have configure the Remote plugin to point at the computername instead of the localhost.

Now what else do i need to do to get it working?
do i have to map custom commands on the Imon manager / Harmony Setup?
Is there a step by step dummies guide with pictures anywhere on how to get it working.

All i want to do is be able to browse up and down though the media portal pages ie movies, music etc.
Browse which movies i want to play and then the usual pause play record ffwd and rewind commands.

If i could get the remote working then i will be over the moon with the system as its a bit of a pain in the arse to use the keyboard everytime i want to use it.

Oh i have most plugins too my movies latest version my tv etc etc and skins too.

Any help would be great geuss im after a step by step guide on harmony configuration.

Thanks for your help and great free product.:D

I can remember the pain well...

The trick is to get the iMon remote working first - and personally, I do this with a combination of the iMon software (which I dislike) and the .imo file that Chemelli (I think) has posted on this forum somewhere - he seems to be pretty switched on when it comes to iMon.

I never managed to get IR Suite to work, and I have a fully functioning iMon running with a Logitech Harmony 525.

If you can get the iMon working as you want it to, as a remote, rather than in mouse function, then mapping that to the Harmony is a breeze, and is done as mentioned by naich, through the Harmony config pages. I then mapped a few other commands onto the Harmony, and now it works well.

Let me know if you have the iMon working like a remote already, rather than as a mouse, as if not, that is where the problem lies.

Good luck
