Hi all,

I have been using a Harmony one remote for some time now for my HTPC, TV and stereo.
From the start it was kinda hard to get everything right (the logitech software is not all that clear and userfriendly from times) and after a year of usage and tinkering it's still not where I want it to be.
The responsiveness of this remote is lacking!

I use the remote in conjunction with a Trust RC-2400 Vista IR Receiver (with MS ehome drivers). Well that works pretty responsive with the remote that came with the receiver but the harmony makes things a tad too slow.

I already found a post somewhere stating that I should not use either MS remote or Trust remote in the harmony software but the MS MCE keyboard. So tried that. I think it helped just a tad bit (hard to distinguish, maybe just a tiny amount). So that's not good enough either.

It's not MP or anything cause it is slow inside windows too.

Any of you guys have a clue for me?

I had the same problem. The support changed the commands for me and now it is faster (delay is only the half now).
It's not prefect but it is okay for me.

ok, how would I go about achieving the same?
Can it be done thru the software or do I need to ask logitech support?
I know the software has settings for this (interkey delay), it's already at 0 on mine.

You might wanna check the settings for your devices in the Harmony software. When you add devices the software automatically puts a delay on all your buttons. I always set them to 0 ms for faster response.

Open the Harmony software, click on Devices (Apparaten) and then click the Settings (Instellingen) button. The 3rd option from the top 'Adjust the delay' (De vertragingen aanpassen (snelheidsinstellingen), click next (volgende) en set them all to 0 ms.
Do this for all your added devices and you should have some response inprovement ;)

I already set the interkey delay to zero.
I tried setting the interdevice delay to 0 once only to have blasting across multiple devices not responding anymore.

The original remote is so much snappier, almost instant. I think I'll never get there though with the harmony. Too bad cause it really is a nice piece of kit.

Too bad, was worth a try :)

I've got the 895 and i must say that it's pretty quick (almost instant) in response, only the volume up/down seems a bit slower but that goes through my receiver.

I don't have the "One" but the "885", and in the top right corner there is a smal indicator (radio beam) shown as long as the remote sends the IR signal. If this is shown for long time, then the IR code is too long.

You can either let the Logitech support change this, or you could try learning the remote the codes itself.

    Hi pilehave,

I've noticed that too (especially when trying out raw learns). But that's not really the problem because it just blinks for about 0.1 seconds now (really fast, number is not accurate)
