Ongoing Harmony One - which IR Receiver 4 MP (1 Viewer)

Hi guys,

I already have my hardware in front of me. Now I don't know which IR-receiver i need to get my harmony one work with my htpc. especially with media portal. I already have an IR-receiver comming with my tv card (technisat skystar hd2) and I'm courius if this receiver will work with my harmony + MediaPortal.
The next suggestion is the Antec Veris Internal IR but I don't know if this component will work with media portal.
The 3rd way would be buying the Microsoft MCE Remote with IR-Receiver and teach my Harmony the Buttons. That should not be a problem does it?

I must say that I would prefer an internal ir-receiver maybe with a display (display is not a MUST have).

i red that people are using their harmony but never saw a post on how they got it to work. hope u can help me

You can obtain an MCE remote in many stores. I got mine through Amazon.

Before I tried for months to get the Harmony working with iMon, it never worked well. The MCE remote on the other hand had excellent native support in MP, it works out-of-the-box without aný tweaking.

Please specify "works". Well, iMon and Harmony do in fact "work"... kind of. But it's not great. I got frustrated with it so I got the MCE receiver.
