Ive been playing around with Comskip for awhile with MP but cant seem to get satisfactory results with it. Performance is inconsistent and works better on some channels than on others, and some shows/ad-breaks it doesnt trigger. (am in Australia - seem to get it working well on Commercial stations but not on SBS or vice-versa)
After a few months of messing around my Comskip setup remains fairly unimpressive, so want to try something else (have been through 4 or 5 different .ini files tuned for Australia with comskip and none of them have produced consistent results).
A lot of people on local (Oz) forums recommend showanalyzer. Ive done a keyword search here on the Forum to see if anyone was using it successfully with MP but there doesnt seem to be any posts, so I just wanted to ask the question and see if anyone has got it working?
I had a quick look at it, tried using schoolhouse which crashed when opening high-def .TS files, and would not identify any commercial breaks in the files after i renamed them to MP3. Before going further with it I thought I might have a browse here and post this question.
Any tips/hints/suggestions? Also, does anyone know of a way to get it to auto-trigger like Comskip Plugin does?
