Hauppauge 150 Tuner Card - Strange Video Problem (4 Viewers)

I've got a Hauppauge PVR 150 tuner card running in MP, and last night when I installed it my cable was comming through just fine. Got all my channels and everything.

Today, I did some driver installing and re-installing to get my remote working and now I'm having problems with my tv tuning. I've tested the line with a regular TV and it gets cable just fine. However, when I try to go to any of my channels, or scan for channels I get a fuzzy screen with some crazy colored pixelation going across the bottom. The best way I can explain what I'm seeing is that it is like you are trying to change the channel on a TV that has a powered on VCR hooked up to it. At the bottom of the screen, the pixalation is like it is blocking out the "info" section or something that comes up when you have digital cable or something like that.

Anyone got any suggestions because I dont' know how to troubleshoot this any further and I'm very anxious to get this working.

Well, I rolled back my driver to a previous version and that seems to have fixed it. Strange that the most up-to-date driver on their web site does not work right, or at least on my computer.

If they have changed something in the driver links that MP does not recognise, it loses contact with MP.
That's why most driver updates for TV cards also come with a software update, so the two bits of kit can talk to each other.

    Rainbox bar at bottom

    Hey all,

Just setup Media Center. Not the most intuitive setup. Took me forever to understand I needed Zap2it and then another 30 minutes trying to find how to get a confirmation code or whatever.

ANYWAY, I did the channel scan thing and all my channels have some kind of out of tune rainbox bar on the bottom of them and the sound is nothing but static even though above the rainbox bar in what remains of the "TV view" I can see the channel fine.

I have an ATI All-in-Wonder 2600 Edition which basically runs on the 9600 series hardware. Running Windows XP home.

Any suggestions?! Lost is coming on soon and I'll be damned if I'm staying up till 11pm to watch it!
