My DVB-S cards are unable to control the DiSEqC switch.
I have seen that the problem should be on earlier versions of Media Portal but it still seems to persist.
Does anyone have suggestions on what to try or measure up to facilitate troubleshooting and bug correction.
I've tried several switches, with the same result (Media Portal can not find any channels.)
If I am in a channel scan and temporarily disconnect the switch and then connect again, (reset DiSEqC-switch) and it finds channels.
But the problem recurs after a while again.

If I look at the string MediaPortal send (according to the log file) so it is:
    0xE0 Start
    0x10 Address
    0x38 Command
0xF4 (Switch number: 5, Switch Option: A satellite position: B, Polarization V, Frequency: Lo

But since it seems to junk bytes:
    0x4 0x0 0x3 0x1 0x1 0x3 0x1

I tried to get my Nova-S to work with 22K and DiSEqC switches and ended up giving up. It seems to me that the Hauppauge cards don't implement it correctly. I just got another card and ran another cable.
