Hauppauge HVR-1300 DVB-EPG Query (1 Viewer)

I've updated to the Hauppauge HVR-1300 which works great, the only problem is the EPG

I'm trying to get it to read the epg from the broadcast, similar to how my freecom done it, but it doesn't seem to want to do it

i've looked in the section regarding epg, but no forum for dedicated dvb-epg, only one seems to be used often is web-epg

so my apologies if in wrong section

Hi,
You enable this in MP Setup (configuration) -> Television -> Program Guide & enable "Grab EPG from DVB ..." & sometimes you have to select grab "all" for language. This should give you the EPG in your DVB-t stream.

already done that, as i said in my post it worked when using the freecom usb device, i've now upgraded to the hauppauge hvr-1300 but it doesn't seem to grab the epg from the signal

for the 2nd which section would it be under, as on there, there isn't a discussion section for dvb-epg grabbing, the only one seemed to be in use is for web-epg

ok, got this working

had to totally uninstall media-portal, reboot, then reinstall

now working correctly
