Hi,
I suppose this is not a Mediaportal issue and more of a hardware issue, but I have looked everywhere else and not found anything that works.
I have 2 TV cards installed and (Terratec dual DVBT and Hauppauge HVR1300 (I think that is the model)).
Yesterday the Hauppauge one stopped working (started with the remote failing) and in the device manager I get the following:
A yellow exclaimation mark next to Hauppauge WinTV 88x DVB-T Hybrid Tuner/Demod.
On viewing properties it says "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)".
I have found plenty of references to this, one even onthe Hauppauge site suggesting deleting a registry key, but no solutions work.
I have also run HCWClear.exe and installed the latest driver (version 2.126.28225.0) to no avail.
MP detects the card but lists it as "Unknown".
Has my card died or am I missing something?
To add to this, I did also got this problem the other day, then it started working again. I thought it was somethig else going on. My other TV card also stopped working recently with a message about not enough resources being availible to start the device. This cleared on a re-start.
Thanks,
Chris
