Hauppauge MC Remote Control Kit (1 Viewer)

I have bought this remote thinking it would be a piece of cake to make it work with Media Portal, but it's not as easy as I expected. I have found the Hauppauge tab under Remote Setup in Media Portal Configuration, but it tells me that I need to update my IR drivers. When I then download the latest IR drivers, I am told that I have no compatible hardware. This is not true however, as the remote is connected and working fine with Windows Media Center.

Do I need to tweak Media Portal or do I need some alternative drivers to make it work?

My OS is Windows 7 x64 if it matters.

have you a link of this kit?

I bought this one. Then just tick the box for the MCE remote in coniguration. That's it.

Thanks for the help. How simple really.

I was under the impression that you had to tick "Use Hauppauge Remote" under the Hauppauge tab, but apparantly not! My remote is exactly the same by the way, pretty sweet remote when all things are working properly.
