Hauppauge RC (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Before building my separate HTPC I've tested MP on my "regular PC" and everything has worked fine. But now I have a problem to setup the Hauppauge RC and it drives me crazy ... I've searched this forum a couple of time and as far as I understood it, I've to install an IR.EXE and the "IR Server Suite".

But it doesn' work... Could someone please tell me again in which sequence do I have to install which program (incl. where I can find it & exact version number if necessary)? any help is highly apppreciated.

Take it this is the remote sensor which plugs into the tvcard and not a usb one.

Install IR32 from your hauppauge driver cd, now reboot, once windows restarts then open MP config\remotes, select the hauppauge remote and that should be it.

Last tested with the WinTV7 application on my 45 button remote, so should work, unless you have another remote type.
