I have the hauppauge 45 button remote and it works well with MP. I am looking to make the HULU desktop application work with the hauppauge remote and found this post on editing the ini file.
If I do this it works but I must then deselect the “keep control when MP loses focus” which breaks the remote function of the netflix plugin. So I am trying to understand how the mapping built into MP works and how I might use it to control the different plugins.
Anyone have examples of how to alter the remote mapping? I see the section under the remote but have not figured out how to use it and can’t find any documentation.
I would like to incorporate the mappings listed above into mediaportal so when the plugin launches the buttons are mapped just for that plugin.
