Hauppauge remote not working after hibernation resume (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

Not sure if this is right place to post this, so sorry if I'm in the wrong place.

I have just enabled powerscheduler and set it to hibernate. The problem I'm getting is when MP resumes after hibernation my Hauppauge remote doesn't work. I've noticed that there Hauppauge IR icon in system tray appears twice when I quit back to the desktop, so I'm assuming it's starting another instance when it's resumed from hibernation.

So my question is: is there something I need to do to prevent it starting another instance, or some other way to solve this?

I have the same issue using the latest svn. I manaeged a tempory fix by disabling Hauppauges own IR32.exe then MP works with remote after coming out of hibernation, but only sometimes.

have you solved this? I have now the same problem since I changed motherboard for mainstream gigabyte p35 ds3r rev. 2.1
how to solve it? not any solution on web has helped. Or which remote controller would you advise me with perfect MP support...best with PC wake up ability (Microsoft MCE is not in shops now

from hauppauge software I get "failed to restart Infrared Remote hardware after standby". So I know that it is HW Hauppauge problem but no one has encountered with this problem?

Running TVE3 and MP svn, 17383.

I have the same problem. But it's only occuring ramdomly. Most of the time, it's ok, but sometimes it's not there. I tried to set the powerscheduler to run the "restart hauppage IR-service (or something like that)", but it caused ramdom black MP-hangs, and error message "problem runing "ir32.exe"" when i pressed CTRL+ALT+DEL. I suppose it coincides with the absence of hauppauge IR restarts.

I'll paste som logs when/if it happens again.
