Motherboard: Asus P5B-Deluxe WiFi
Motherboard Chipset: Intel P965
Motherboard Bios: Phoneix
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon X1600Pro 256Mb
1. TV Card: Hauppauge HVR-1300
1. TV Card Type: Hybrid
1. TV Card Driver: v2.5e
2. TV Card: Twinhan DVB-C (2033 Mantis)
2. TV Card Type: DVB-C

Satelite/CableTV Provider: ComHem

My problem is quite simple: I doesn't work at all
If I have both cards installed the computer detects the cards and everything, but Mediaportal and all other programs like Hauppuges own and Twinhans DTV doesn't detect any cards. I've tried the DVBfix mentioned here in other threads with no luck, tried to change PCI slot with same result. I've working for a week with this and still nothing, one card works in the computer works ok but not both at the same time. Even tried to speak with (*urk*) Microsoft...but buying MCE was there answer, witch of course isn't an option

Sorry but I can't include log file from mediaportal cause i'm sitting at work and forgot to mail the log from home. I think i've read everything in this forum about Twinhan cards, about adding the card in capturecards.xml and the dvbfix issue (yes i've comfired that the patch is in deed installed)

Right now i'm very tired of this Twinhan card and is thinking about changing it for a floppydtv-c instead..but if someone could se something i've missed to do i would save som cash so i can spend on other stuff...like a bottle of whisky ;)

Sounds like a motherboard problem or riser card issue more than anything.
I have a Twinhan DVB-S card & HVR-1300 in my rig and it works fine.

BTW, the Twinhan Mantis cards CI interface does not work yet in MP - hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Thx for quick response. It's brand new and all PCI slots works, tried with a WiFi card and there where no problems with them. But it could of course be a chipset releated problem, the P965 chip is still young

I'm gonna try to return the Twinhan card and try a FloppyDTV-C instead. Maybe it will work better

I have a Twinhan/Hauppage combination running for moth now. It's absoluty without problems.
Maybe it's because a Twinhan Mantis.
