Hi there,
in the new Wiki unter "Preparing your system" --> "Supported TV Cards" --> "Hauppauge + WinTvCI" there is no checkmark under DVB--S2 support.
I do have a Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-HD-S2 which (after updating to the latest drivers and the WinTV V7.2 software) works with all FTA HD-channels on Astra 19.2 satellite.
I have tried it with CoreAVC, MPC-HC and DivX-H264 as H.264-codec.
For the latter two the installation is also explained in the new Wiki.
(CoreAVC I somehow got "for free" after installing Quicktime Alternative.)
I only sometimes have issues when starting "Servus TV HD" and "ANIXE HD" which use 1080i as HD-format, but "arte HD","Das Erste HD", "ZDF HD" and "Einsfestival HD" always start and display correctly (720p-Format).
Repeated change to other channels usually solves this issue with "Servus TV HD" and "ANIXE HD".
Might be due to switching between interlaced (1080i) and non-interlaced (720p) in the codec and not attributable to the driver.
However there is no CI-extension card, so only FTA channels are available.
Roger
