I just bought the HD2400 pro after readiing all the good reviews about the card and how it uses little cpu power when watching hd stuff. http://www.hardspell.com/english/doc/showcont.asp?news_id=622&pageid=629
Well, it does not work for me... Cpu usage is still very high when watching mkv files and even upscaled dvds to 1080p.
I have the latest version of mp installed. Power dvd 7.3 installed. The latest CCC installed. Haali mkv splitter installed. FFDshow installed..
What do I need to do get mkv files play smoothly? Or can the Hd 2400 pro only work with actual HD dvd and bluray discs? And mkv, divx, xvid, avi HD stuff just get ignored by the avivo system..
Can someone who has had success using the hd 2400/2600 with MP help?
Thanks...
