Hey all



can i use my DVI Out via HDMI to my LCD and having mediaPortal on my TV, while working on my PC?
something like extend desktop with catalyst (win7)


perfect would be to use my remote control to start mediaPortal on TV, while a person could still use this pc to work /browse
something like making remote keys only working in mediaportal and that even if it isnt active




is anyone of you capable of using a pc that way?

i found the screenselector under general options, to asign a specific screen to media portal

what about the other points?

tried to get the remote starting MediaPortal with the mediacenter button

couldnt get "mpTray.exe" to work (plugin especially for this)
in windows 7 it says "couldnt find mptray.exe", if you are running the install.bat with admin rights



anyone that used the grider/MCE plugin to get the remote working, even if MediaPortal isnt the active programm?
using other keys, so that some other person can use the computer while i am using mediaportal?
