HD-Channel problem (only top right corner displayed) (1 Viewer)

Hi,


The problem started when I changed my nVidia to ATI controller. All channels works just fine except HD. I can only see top right corner (huge zoom) So basically I only see channel logo. Any idea? I tryed to do fresh install to Mediaportal but same result. This issue is valid only for HD-channels.

I will check these hints first. I have CoreAVC also so I need to check those options...

if you would tell us which h.264 codec you use, and if you would provide a logfile which was created while the issue occured, then we might be able to help you.

You don't say what OS you're using but..

I get this exact issue with Vista (32-bit) and h.264 channels using CoreAVC if I try and use the EVR renderer with Aero switched off.

Basically I had 2 choices, either enable Aero for the EVR renderer to work, or switch to VMR9.

I enabled Aero and no problems from then on.

Bad idea. If you switch off AERO you will loose a lot benefits of Vista when it comes to smooth media playback.
never do that.

also never use VMR9 on Vista, always use EVR.

Hi,

I used this CoreAVC on Vista 32bit system This issue was solved byt turning this hardware accelerator on from CoreAVC settings. Anyway after that I made fresh Mediaportal installation and I got new (old problems) back =( I will start own thread from those (no EPG data and slow channel switching or no channel switching at all)

Ok, this channel switching seems to be a bigger problem on 1.0.2
