Hi,

Since yesterday french HD TV (TF1HD, France2 HD and M6HD) audio is emitted with E-AC3 (or AC3+, DD+).
Another HD channel (ARTE HD) is still in AC3.

My problem is all HD channels with AC3+ cannot be watched (no time shifting, no signal).
Why only sound change can remove the video ?

Is there any french people have the same problem and had resolve it ?

Thanks

    Hi !

same problem here (near Paris), no more HD channels with DD+ audio since yesterday morning, tv.log report an error, "card: WaitForTimeShiftFile - no audio was found after 15,002 seconds"
it seems there is no audio data in the stream !?

    i'm back to SD channels for TF1, F2 and M6 :(

Ok thanks for the precision. I was not sure all have the problem.

I this moment, I tried a lot of codec, but nothing works, even AC3+ codec.

So I don't know the issue.

Why with AC3+ codec, HD TV still don't work ?

Have a look here we are not alone...

I don't think it's a codec problem, i think it's a stream problem or the dvbt protocol has been modified/upgraded to add AC3+ stream and so it needs some developpments to be handle by TVServer

if you look at the log, you see that the two audio tracks are rejected (type 0x6). That's the reason why the stream is stopped. It should be a little thing to handle only a new audio type in tswriter.

    Hi all,

Good to see that I'm not the only one having troubles with HD channels... I was starting to be crazy as it was working using Winclip but not in MP.

Currently TsWriter nor TsReader support those new audio types. Maybe at somepoint in future.

I can try to look at the source as I think this is not too hard to only add the support of a new audio type. Even just provide a patched dll is enough for french MP users. We can't record or see HDTV. We have to use another DVB recorder like dvbviewer :(.
But thanks for the great job ;)

Same problem here near Caen. It seems that all french mp users couldn't use any more mp to watch or record hd channels. It would be nice Sullyvan if you can take a look at the source !
