Some channels work great with hdhomerun, no audio distortion. But other have completly distorted sound. By distorted I mean that I can turn my volume ALL THE WAY UP and barely hear the voices and sound for that channel. If I open those channels in VideoLan (VLC) using the bundled hdhomerun software, there is no problems with them at all. It is only in mediaportal that they have trouble. I've tried 2.3.0 RC1 through to the latest (todays) SVN. I've tried all the audio and video codec options (MPV, DScaler, ffdshow), they all do the same thing. All channels are being gotten via clearQAM over my landline cable.

Any ideas? Thanks!

MediaPortal Version: 2.3.0 RC1 - 2.3.0 RC2 SVN
Windows Version: XP w/ SP2
CPU Type: core 2 duo e6600
Memory: 2gig
Motherboard: gigabyte ds3
Video Card: nvidia 7900gt
Video Card Driver: latest nvidia
Sound Card: Creative soundblaster audigy ls
1. TV Card: hdhomerun

Edit: I tried the BeyondTV trial and even though it is pretty crappy software, it doesn't have this problem :(

No sound on some channels with HDHomeRun

I have the exact same problem, using HDHomeRun, and MediaPortal 2.3.0 with the latest SNV. There are about 5 channels where the sound is inaudible. All other channels work fine, and other HTPC software (e.g. BeyondTV) works fine with the same channels.

Any help on this would be much appreciated, as this is frustrating enough that I may need to stop using MediaPortal (which is otherwise awesome).

Thanks!!
