Hi,
I installed TV Engine and MSSQL-Express on the server and MediaPortal on the client.
Standard TV works fine, but I have problems with HDTV (DVB-S2). I can hear the sound
and the upper part of the videopicture is ok (but standing still). The lower part (2/3 of the picture)
is a copy of the last line from the upper part. After some seconds, the application is crashing.
I thought, the problem is the H.264 decoder. I tried ffdshow and the Pinnacle's own decoder.
With the pinnacle decoder, nothing starts. I didn't want to buy PowerDVD Ultra, if I didn't be sure,
that this is the problem. I also have the bluRay&HD Plugin from Nero 8, but this decoder isn't shown
in the List. I also tried the Trail of Purevideo from NVIDIA, but this decoder only apears in the
DirectShow filter options.
ffdshow works, if I use singleseat, I mean client & server are on the same machine.
Does anyone has an idea, how I could fix this?
Christian
