Help - cant figure out the new way to get STB/Blasting working? (1 Viewer)

Hey All,

I had MP running great with two cable STB's (Set Top Boxes) for nearly a year. The whole thing crashed on me, so I decided to start over from scratch. The way I had it working before was with the Schedules Direct plugin, the TV3Blaster (i think that is what it was called?), EventGhost and my Gyration remote.

As of now I have the schedules direct plugin working great, however I cannot get the IR blaster to switch channels on the STB's. I see there are now a few options within the MP setup for blasting to a STB, but I cant seem to get them working. The online wiki manual has zero information on this configuration, and I havent been successful in finding information on these forums.

My bookmarks for the TV3Blaster are now dead... so how does one control blasting to STB's with the new version of MP?

Use IRSS....TV3Blaster is dead because it does not work on Vista/Windows7...and it was decided that IRSS would take over.

I have Vista, and when I had MP working last year, it was with the TV3Blaster on Vista?

Sorry that's what I was told by the development team. I've always used IRSS, so I cant tell you when exactly TV3Blaster stopped working...
