Finally decided to ditch 0.2.3.0 and go to 1.0.1.

Installed on a clean XP SP3 machine, selected TV server, MySql and single seat. Installation completes successfully.

I start the TV Server config, enter the MySQL password and hit Test. Connection is successful. But when the TV server config page turns up and I select the TV Server tab, the page is empty, no server is listed!!???

I check that the TV Service and MySQL service are running, and they are. There are some errors in the log, but I'm not sure what they mean. I suspect it has something to do with my TV cards not being properly identified. I have three Hauppauge HVR-1300 and one HVR-1100 hybrid cards in the machine and they all worked fine in 0.2.3.0.

Any ideas?

Yes, it worked! Thanks a lot, brilliant!

Now the only issue is identify which card is which... The HVR-1300 and the HVR-1100 have the same description, which makes it tricky. Perhaps I have to pull out the cards one by one?

Can I be sure the digital and analog parts of the hybrids are identified in the same order? E.g Digital 1=Analog 5, Digital 2=Analog 6, Digital 3= Analog 7 and Digital 4 = Analog 8

    Hi mickelin

I had the same problem with cards named the same as my HTPC has two WinTV HVR-4000s. This meant there were three pairs of tuners with the same name (although I don't use analogue so wasn;t bothered about these).

I was going to open the case and pull one card out but in the end I removed the satellite and aerial cables from one and then tried to tune from all the cards. One DVT-B and DVB-S tuner worked OK and the others couldn't find a signal. I then knew which card was which and I could define the two cards as hybrid correctly.
It just seemed easier than opening the case.

Is it possible to just go into the database and rename the cards there without causing any badness? I have two cards installed, a PVR-150 and a dual PVR-350.
