Hello,
i'm new with Mediaportal and need your help.
My problem is that i can resicve networkstreams with VLC as client.
I have test different ways but no positiv result right now.
My Server system:
Windows XP SP3
TV Server (V1.0.2)
SQL Express
TV Card Technisat Skystar 2 DVB-S
The TV Server is running und for test i have start "TimeShift" for one channel.
If i now use a VLC client what is installet direct on the server i can connect to the Stream via URL: rtsp://192.168.238.238/stream1.0
Now the problem is that the IP adress 192.168.238.238 is from the virtual network adapter what comes with my TV card drivers.
The IP address of my physical network adapter is a different one. So i can't connect to to the IP of the virtual network adapter via a client in my network.
I have also test this one MEDIAPORTAL - free media center - Live TV on your cellphone/pda or web?? but it dosent work.
Have any one a complete tutorial what i must do step by step to get the TV server working and connect via VLC ofer the network to the stream?
