I have recently purchased a Club 3D HD4650 (passive cooling). I purchased this card because I would like to have 5.1 sound over my HDMI connection. This card is supposed to be able to do that according to the specs and tests I have seen.
However, after installing it, I can't get it to output anything besides the stereo configuration. I have installed the latest Ati drivers (8.12) en from Realtek I have also installed the latest drivers for sound (2.12) I have even installed a special realtek HDMI driver (2.09). None of these drivers changes anything. I went through (I think) all config screens, but I can't find the option anywhere.
I have attached some screenshots in which my problems can be seen. When I go into the properties of the HDMI controler, I have the option to test for instance DTS audio or Dolby digital, but when I select them to be tested windows comes up with an error that says that it can't play the test sound and that support for it will be turned off (sorry, in dutch in the screencap...).
Any of you guys have an idea how to get this working?
