[HELP US] Getting those DVB EPG issues fixed (1 Viewer)

I am currently looking on the epg routines.
I just made some changes concerning both grabbing methods and some improvements for the TimeshiftingEPGGrabber only.
Please try with next snapshot (from 17th of december).
This purpose of this thread is to collect all issues users have with DVB EPG and fix them.
Please try the next snapshot and DISABLE the "epg grabbing while idle" and only use the timeshifting epg grabber.
The goal is to see if the grabbing basically works or not.
If that's ok, we will have a look at the idle grabber. (already have some ideas what might be wrong).
But at first let's concentrate on the timeshifting epg grabber.

Ok, I disabled the idle grabber and timeshifted (Timeout: 10 minutes) on some channels, it seems to go pretty much better as with the idle grabber. I got data on most channels for 4 days ahead. Here are my complete test results:

First attempt: Tuning into P SportPortal. It found and inserted EPG Info on some P Direkt channels. Log:

Second attempt: Tuning into P DirektPortal: It found and inserted more EPG Info for most other P Direkt channels. Log:

Still two channels of P-Direkt (D1-10.15 and D1-9.15) remained without data. So I tuned into these two channels and waited for EPG-Grabbing to be finished. Result: Still no EPG-Info on those channels. Log:

Could you please post back which revision you used?
I noticed another bug and fixed in rev 16643.
Your logs look like you tested an older rev?

16643 is better than old ones but still not ok for DVB-EPG.
I disabled the grab while idle and watched live tv for a while changing channel.
I have for some channels 2 entries ( current program and the next one ) nothing more. For some other channels nothing at all.

If you want me to test something else in a different way let me know.
BTW, you have a stream from an italian broadcaster on the ftp site under the "Full_muxes" directory.

I set up a new DB and download version 16657. I then scanned for some channels. We here in the US do it a bit different. Where all channels will download a 2 hour guide. Then you have 1 channel that downloads a 48 hour guide and then another that downloads a 9 day guide. I am hoping we can work this out so it will look at certain channels when you are on that transponder. Attached is my testing running on a transponder with the 48 hour guide selected. It has 4 channels on it and it got guide data for all of them. It seems to work pretty good, but I do have a small gap were it was unable to get the shows during that time. This is the long running issue we have for US sats. I have attached all my logs and await the next test.

As a first try you could check if USA_DISHNETWORKS_12370_DVBS_213NASA_FTA.ts is enough. ASiDiE has uploaded that one earlier. Maybe it has enough data and is from correct transponder
