Okay..I just finished installing Mediaportal a while back, and now I'm having trouble with it reading embedded album art in the iD3 Tags. Does anyone know what can fix this issue?

Can you be a little more specific as to what exactly the problem is? There is a music forum here where you may get better support. The scan process extracts the embedded art and places it in \Program Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\Music. You may want to have a look there. Also, you will be asked for logs. So, clear out the thumbs, go into Music Database configuration. Uncheck "only update new/changed files". Check "cover art embedded", uncheck "folder.jpg". Run the scan "Update database from..." and post the logs.

  • About The Project

The vision of the MediaPortal project is to create a free open source media centre application, which supports all advanced media centre functions, and is accessible to all Windows users.

In reaching this goal we are working every day to make sure our software is one of the best.

  • Support MediaPortal!

The team works very hard to make sure the community is running the best HTPC-software. We give away MediaPortal for free but hosting and software is not for us.
