Help with video card selection (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,

I'm building (yet another) HTPC and I want to get a video card that is more than I'll ever need to drive my 60" 1080p plasma tv (via DVI-HDMI)

I won't ever play games on the HTPC (that's what my PS3 is for!) but I will likely want to add a blu-ray or HD DVD player so I'd like the card to be able to handle that.

The only other *critical* factor is noise - it's critical the card is as quite as possible.

Can anyone help with a suggestion? Money isn't a real limitation - althought given I won't play games I don't want to waste money

Whow 60" plasma??? damn nice.
If I may ask what did you pay for it?
And how big is you room???? my 40" is already very large to me.

silent: make it passive.
I like the ATI HD2600 XT Ultimate.
Will play all HD stuff with no problems and its passive.
