Hi, need some advice if possible (1 Viewer)

Hi, I have 2 available pc's (both up to spec to run media portal) but only one dual tuner (pinnacle 2000i dual) which worked ok in my test install of mediaportal (server and client on the same system). What is the best way to configure these 2 systems (presumably the pc with tuner as server) so that both are able to watch/pause/rewind TV.

In my initial test i had pc 1 as server and client and it paused rewinded tv etc fine.
Pc2 as client was able to watch and record tv fine as well but after pausing it often would forward and rewind incorrectly, instead of forwarding 15 sec after being paused for a few minutes it would jump a couple minutes and similar behaviour on rewinding. Im guessing i havnt setup timeshifting correctly or maybe i shouldnt have configured the mapping of the channels on the server (which i did, channels were identical the card being a dual dvb-t card).

Just to clarify both pc's are running HD Tv fine without crashing or skipping etc and have fast HDD, good ram and processors etc. Im just having problems with timeshifting from my client pc after pausing not being able to forward /rewind in 15 sec increments.

Local client and remote works different with timeshift
Local works directly with timeshift file
Remote works by rtsp network protocol and streaming server.
I have the same problems. Seeking while using rtsp is not allways right maybe normal 15 sec next time jump to the end of timeshift
I think its a bug in seek in multiseat configuration
Dev's isnt it ?

Hi, thanks for reply romuz, im guessing that this is just how it is at the momenet then inf you have same/similar problem. I just realized that i didnt post my mediaportal version but it is the current 1.02 release and the server is setup using the singleseat installation.
