I recently installed 1.1 alpha and have noticed a large increase in CPU utilization. (MP now runs about 20%) Tracking this down, the usage comes from MediaPortal continually writing to the TSReader log file. The issue appears to be that data is arriving late (video or audio), being compensated for and a log entry being made. An example of the log entries is shown below:
14-08-2009 10:28:15.156 [1168]Vid/Ref : 1.635, Late I-frame(02), Compensated = 0.066 ( 0.066 A/V buffers=00/33), Clk : 0.000000, State 1
14-08-2009 10:28:15.156 [1338]Aud/Ref : 1.843, Late Compensated = 0.274 ( 0.274 A/V buffers=01/32), Clk : 0.000000, State 1
14-08-2009 10:28:15.171 [1168]Vid/Ref : 1.569, Late p-frame(00), Compensated = 0.000 ( 0.000 A/V buffers=00/35), Clk : 0.000000, State 1
14-08-2009 10:28:15.171 [1338]Aud/Ref : 2.003, Late Compensated = 0.434 ( 0.434 A/V buffers=01/34), Clk : 0.000000, State 1
14-08-2009 10:28:15.187 [1168]Vid/Ref : 1.602, Late p-frame(01), Compensated = 0.033 ( 0.033 A/V buffers=00/35), Clk : 0.000000, State 1
14-08-2009 10:28:15.203 [1168]Vid/Ref : 1.735, Late b-frame(05), Compensated = 0.166 ( 0.166 A/V buffers=00/34), Clk : 0.000000, State 1

This is a single seat setup. My question is this. Has there been a change in the logging that is causing this? By this I mean, are these compensation activities now being logged where they weren't in the past? I've checked earlier logs and found the change seems to have taken place after TSReader version 1.0.3 which didn't show any of these log entries and 1.0.5 where they started showing up and have continued into 1.0.6.
Any ideas why the data is late? I can post logs if desired. Thanks for any insight anyone can provide.
