Very strange problem CPU usage gone up when browsing pictures. I have tried pictures on local or network drive the same. I can hear the CPU fan spinned up and temperature gone up. Check task manager CPU 60-70% and will go up if I browse faster.

No problem playing video with CoreAVC codec.

    Hi,

This could be the thumbnail creation process. It will go and scan all your pictures and make a small thumbnail on your disk for faster browsing in the future. Just leave it running until it is done and then it should "shut up".

You can also check the logs to be sure.
