The other day I came up with a small spectrum analyser that fits into Indigo quite nicely. I felt I wanted to share this to you, cause I really think it does alot for the overall feel.
I've uploaded a youtube video for you guys to see:

Here's how you do it:
1. Download this plugin from the Winamp home page: Classic Spectrum Analyzer - Customize Winamp Media Player
2. Start the installer
3. The installer wants you to select your winamp installation folder so you'll have to have winamp installed on your system.
3. After the installation, go into your Winamp\Plugins folder and find vis_classic.dll. Move this file to <your MediaPortal installation folder>\MusicPlayer\plugins\visualizations
(maybe there's some other way to extract vis_classic.dll from the installer. If so, let us know)
4. Start the MediaPortal configuration.
5. Under the "Music" section you'll find the tab "visualisation". Go there and select the "Classic Spectrum Analyser" from the drop-down box.
6. Press Config and play around with the settings.
My settings are:
Analyser
Frequenzy Bar Fall-off: 6
Peak Indikator Change Rate: 7
Bar Width: 4th line from the right
Horizontal spacing: 3rd line from the left
Reverse Left: Checked
Reverse Right: Unchecked
Mono: Checked
Style
Frequency Bars: Classic
Background: Solid Color
Drawing Effect: None
Peak Indicators: Fade
Motion: normal
Color
Bars: White
Peak and Flash: 55 87 117
