Well, as the title says really (Can't remember what the other one is at the moment). When I'm watching TV it looks really drained of color, and it's too bright, but I can't figure out how to alter those settings without using a different decoder which I don't want to do.

Cheers

I would check to see what tool nvidea has to make those changes. First go through through the control panel -> Display, Settings Tab and the Advanced button. There you should have more advanced setting to alter the display. I hope at sometime in the future MP will have controls to alter these settings, but I know it won't be any time soon.

If that doesn't work see if you have any nvidea tools that were installed or maybe you might have to install such tools from nvidea website.

Well I'm actually using the Dscaler decoder now as that gives me the best aspect ratio for TV and that doesn't give me the options to change the said settings unfortunately.

You can change brightness, contrast, etc in Dscaler as far as I know. In fact, I believe you can even do it through the MediaPortal configuration program (at least, you could in the past).
